Nestled midway on the road bridging Trichy and Tanjore, ensconced amidst the many temples- those last strongholds and vestiges of sanctity, with the Cauvery playfully meandering in its backyard, is the National Institute of Technology, Trichy. And in this temple, come September 2009, you'll see a generation getting in touch with their true self, rewinding back to a time where dreams abounded, and where the mind was without fear, and unwind as their spirits try to reconnect with those lost dreams, and endless possibilities.
Welcome to Festember, the cultural festival that is one of South India's biggest in its genre. It is not just aobut a plethora of events or for that matter a treasure trove of prizes- for this is where the moods and the motley crowds merge to embark on a journey that rejoices in creativity and imagination. Festember, as has been tradition, this time too promises to eclipse what its previous editions achieved.
